Building Day 1 --Sort of...(more like buying day)

Today we went to Rona to purchase our materials. Once there we figured out that we had to change our design. No surprise! A nice gentleman at the service station helped us out with what type of wood would be good for our trebuchet. Apparently, we were quite mistaken with the type of wood should be used. Anyways, we bought wood, had it cut, and got some joiner parts and stuff. All the while the salty old man was probably shaking his head (mentally of course!) about how we needed "the pointy screws" not the blunt ones. Here are some photos!

So we spent a good few hours at Rona, from around 4pm to 7pm. Of course we had to run back to the cutting station at 8:14 to get a block cut. Oops! We made it anyways. But of course as all adolescence know, one cannot skip a meal. Especially snack time. Click here for more!
