Conclusions-Were the Physics Bears Successful In "Taking Back the Forest"?
The trebuchet fired. We may not be able to lay siege to the "human" folk with our tennis ball chucking trebuchet, however, just for completing this project in the short deadline, with limited resources and of course our fair share of complications, I'd say "YES, WE DID IT!". Our trebuchet, not only did it have a razor sharp paint job and could fire at multiple distances, it at the very least worked. So to continue with this quasi-fairy tale, science-based, project write-up conclusion...The physics bears after spending a gruelling week piecing their trebuchet together and working tirelessly (maybe not after though) to complete the trebuchet, was able to "lay siege" to the various aluminum targets and aimed for distance, to provide a harder-to-attack-target for the humans. After spending the day in the snowy environment off the edge of the highway, it was time, time to document their success and proposal, design, experiment, and testing information for the public, in a snippy little video montage, so any other aspirational bears could follow in the physics bears furry paws in making a trebuchet--hopefully improving upon the design to make it even better and stripier than it predecessor. Bon chance avec votre projet!
